Ozzie-Ba-Ru Shiraz 750ml
Sku: 60091023

VINEYARD NOTES: Grapes have been selected from our 22 acre Shiraz block, with alluvial soil, beside our creek. The vines are radically pruned to only two cordons with a maximum of six eyes producing a yield of approximately 1 ton maximum grapes per acre. Fermentation: long cold fermentation of three weeks between 18 to 22 degrees centigrade. The wine is matured in French and American Oak barrels for a minimum of fifteen months. TASTING NOTES: The color has an inky depth, ruby red with pink tints. The nose has excellent persistence, elegant and mellow with mulberry, raspberry, current fruit, liquorice with understated vanillin oak and a savory pepper complexity. The palate has lingering flavors of luscious fruit held together with fine soft silky tannins. This wine is well balanced with a long finish.
